Verlantis Interactive Map ("the App") is a private, collaborative tabletop role-playing game tool. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you sign in, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.
1. Information We Collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive the following information from your Google account:
- Name — used as your display name within the app
- Email address — used to identify your account
- Profile photo (if available) — used as your avatar
We do not collect passwords, payment information, contacts, calendar data, or any other Google account data.
Within the app, we also store content you create, such as map markers, points of interest, and campaign notes. This content is associated with your account and stored securely via Supabase.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to:
- Authenticate you and maintain your session
- Display your name and colour to other members of your campaign
- Associate map markers and content with your account
We do not use your information for advertising, analytics services, or any automated decision-making.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties, except as necessary to operate the App:
- Supabase — our backend database and authentication provider. Data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
- Google — used only for sign-in via OAuth. See Google's Privacy Policy.
We will never disclose your data to other parties without your explicit consent, unless required by law.
4. Data Retention
Your account data is retained for as long as you use the App. If you wish to have your data deleted, please contact us at the email address below and we will remove your account and associated content within 14 days.
5. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Authentication is handled via Google OAuth and Supabase's secure infrastructure. We do not store your Google password or any sensitive credentials.
6. Children's Privacy
This App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
